Alexander Kotov

Alexander Kotov is a Senior Technical Director and Lighting Designer based in Dubai, UAE, with 20+ years of experience delivering large-scale concerts, ceremonies, festivals and broadcast events across the GCC. He is the founder and director of Cueline Event Management and the founder of Lumatrack, a performer-tracking technology company.

In 2026 he has delivered lighting design and technical direction for the UAE Pro League Awards at Emirates Palace, the INSO 2026 opening ceremony in Jeddah, the Roshn Saudi League closing ceremony at Al Awwal Park, Riyadh, the ADNOC Pro League title night in Al Ain and the ADIB Cup final in Abu Dhabi.

Earlier work includes lighting systems for the Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve 2026 spectacle, MDLBeast Soundstorm, the Dubai World Cup, the Spanish Supercopa and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. Shortlisted for TPiMEA Lighting Designer of the Year 2025; WOW Awards 2024 Silver for Best Lighting Solution.
